What is this

A daily NBA quiz: five players who have moved teams, and you name where they play now. Wrong guesses reveal hints, from conference down to a teammate.

226 players on 2026-27 rosters have played for more than one team in the seasons on file, 116 of them changed teams this offseason, and 35 drafted rookies are waiting to be placed. Rosters as listed by NBA.com on September 26, 2026.

How to play

Each day brings five players. Every one of them has played for more than one team since the seasons on file began, and the question is always the same: which team lists him today.

Tap a team. A wrong guess reveals the next hint, from conference, to division, to position and jersey number, to a teammate. You get three guesses per player, and a hint can be bought for the price of a guess.

Three modes. Movers is anyone with more than one team on file. This offseason is only the players who changed teams since last season ended. Rookies is the draft class, with school and draft slot as the clues.
