The data, as files.

What is this

Written from the same tables the pages are built from, so a number in a file here and the same number on a page cannot disagree. Rates are rounded to four places, which keeps every meaningful distinction in a basketball statistic.

12 free CSV files covering 4 NBA seasons, 2022-23 through 2025-26, 1.7 MB in total, updated through August 9, 2026. Player season totals, team standings and ratings, and every team game result. No account, no key, and no rate limit.

Player season totals

One row per player per season: games, minutes, counting stats, shooting splits, and the derived rates including true shooting, usage rate, and assist share.

32 columns, roughly 550 rows per season

Team standings and ratings

One row per team per season: record, points for and against per game, estimated offensive and defensive rating, net rating, strength of schedule, and pace.

15 columns, 30 rows per season

Team game results

One row per team per game, so every game appears twice, once from each side. Box score totals, shooting splits, and the estimated ratings for that game.

29 columns, 2,460 rows per season

Using these

Free to use for anything, including commercially. A link back to boxscorelab.com is appreciated and not required. If you publish something built on these, I would like to see it.

Column names match the ones used across the site, so the glossary defines every field, and the methodology page covers what the derived numbers assume. Every row carries its season, so several files concatenate without losing track of which is which.

Statistics come from NBA Stats, the league’s own public data. BoxScore Lab is not affiliated with the NBA. Files are regenerated with each nightly build during the season; this set is from build 20260810T0217.
